In the evenings during the summer, we would play on the swing, until the fire fly’s filled the air. Sometimes the Moon seemed so close, that I thought I could swing high enough to touch it with my toes.

..and even though I never touched it, I always wondered if other kids were doing the same thing.

I have been an Art Director in the Video Games industry for almost 15 years. It’s a lot of fun, but it’s a lot more work than most people realize. The hours are long and the responsibilities are many. It has left little time or energy for some of my more time consuming creative endeavors, sculpture,3D Modelling, illustration and film making, especially when balancing a family.

Thank you Angel, I don’t normally do sci-fi themes, but I wanted to submit a piece for the challenge. I am happy with the way it turned out and glad you liked it.

Something is stirring close to my heart and stomach right now.
I loved to swing when a child…I still love but my bowels just shring when doing it.
I do not know what has changed…I beleive that the motion makes me feel fear to loose the balance, to lose my being….and then my inside reminds me it so.
I am in love with this image and the idea of protecting our soul lights of tiny angels of the guarding. And the awesome “motherness” of the huge moons that are assuring us that how far we can go.how hight we can get…the enormous gravity of soul, will get us rooted again, and not being turned into an invisible star.

Thank you for the comments -all. Recently I have been thinking about and trying to visualize the things that I thought about as a child, and am lucky enough to have two beautiful ones that can steer the way.
