Digital Illustration using a combination of 3-D sculpting in Z-Brush and com positing in Photoshop.

When I was much younger I could not get enough of Greek and Norse mythology. It has been 20 years since I have revisited and or actually drawn on those stories for reference or inspiration , but for some reason I recently decided to do a few pieces, The Minotaur, The Hydra and The cyclops. Each will be featuring a Greek hero in some way but the "creatures will be the focus.

So here is the first one, The Minotaur and Theseus in “Guardian of the Maze”.

Enjoy,
Peyton

I have been an Art Director in the Video Games industry for almost 15 years. It’s a lot of fun, but it’s a lot more work than most people realize. The hours are long and the responsibilities are many. It has left little time or energy for some of my more time consuming creative endeavors, sculpture,3D Modelling, illustration and film making, especially when balancing a family.
