Corn chopping in Rickreall Oregon (USA) October 2010
2 Giant German made Krone Harvesters in the field. These 1/2 million Dollar “choppers” take less than 5 minutes to fill a truck .I am standing on the roof top of another truck to take this shot. Perfect timing and driving skill is required from both the operator and the truck driver. Normally two choppers would not work side by side but on opposite sites of an field so as to not get in each others way. For the sakes of " THE SHOT " how ever . LOL
Camera was a D90 .Nikkor lens .24mm(36),f8,1/1000s,ISO200,-1.5ev

Great panorama, and, having done my PhD dissertation in Agricultural Sciences, I really like it

I’ve seen plenty of wheat and grape harvesting, but not corn – interesting.
