In my River Series, I have run around the river a bit and in this shot, taken from near the Brisbane Maritime Museum, we can see the lit up Kangaroo Point cliffs underneath the Captain Cook Bridge. The sky is also clear with the moonlit cloudsshowing through.
I love the purple lit cliffs with the yellow street lights at the top, and my aim was to frame them under the bridge like this. I also love the contrast in colour from the greens of vegetation, purples and yellows of the cliffs and the stark white lights of the bridge… Unfortunately at 11pm when this was taken the ferries run quite frequently and the preferred clear reflections have no chance to show! Will have to do this one next full moon at 3am!
