Taken whilst travelling along an outback road in North West New South Wales, Australia. This shows the countryside in the grip of a drought, the rivers and streams drying up into a series of shrinking waterholes like this one. The hardship of the people that live and work in this area is clear.. but hard times makes for wonderful people!

A well composed picture capturing the thirst of the vegetation and – indirectly – the hardship that this would have caused to those who work the Outback!

  • Thanks very much. This is a picture that I should write to.. The outback is awesome in it’s good and bad days… Cheers!
