Cesky Krumlov Arch by phil decocco

On the pleasant walk up to the castle of Cesky Krumlov, in the Southern Bohemian region of the Czech Republic, one passes a stone bridge crossing a dry moat where live bears have roamed since 1707 as an essential part of the fortification of the castle. Off to the left is this classic archway leading straight up to the castle itself.

Just a retired old guy who loves looking for an eclectic mix of subjects to photograph, from people, to places, to concepts, and enjoys all aspects of the hunt, the find, and the shot, plus dabbling in the post production.

“No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did, he would cease to be an artist”
Oscar Wilde
