Wear Worn Steps by phil decocco

In the Tuscan hill town of Montepulciano, Italy, these steps have carried folks down their narrow, steep course for centuries. Today, although moss covered and worn down by footsteps, they remain a major walkway up and down the town.

Just a retired old guy who loves looking for an eclectic mix of subjects to photograph, from people, to places, to concepts, and enjoys all aspects of the hunt, the find, and the shot, plus dabbling in the post production.

“No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did, he would cease to be an artist”

Phil, Excellent image. I can’t help but wonder about all the conversations throughout history along those steps.

I can see the hordes walking through this space, some arm in arm, chatting away. Thanks for your comment
