Artist's Description

In 1599 Adolf Scharzenbureg, created this as a memorial of a kind of the conquest of the Turkish fortress in Hungary, known in German as “Raab” ( raven). It is a raven pecking the head of a Turk. This replica was found as a door handle in the Hlubkoa Castle in the Czech Republic.
