On a very sunny afternoon on Martha’s Vineyard, this artist stood in her red stripe polo, and big, wide straw hat, and pondered her canvas of the Menemsha Coast Guard Station a hundred yards ahead.

Just a retired old guy who loves looking for an eclectic mix of subjects to photograph, from people, to places, to concepts, and enjoys all aspects of the hunt, the find, and the shot, plus dabbling in the post production.

“No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did, he would cease to be an artist”
Oscar Wilde

Great perspective, just makes the viewer feel – it’s frame in frame :)

  • thanks prasad,
at first I took a few shots from a more acute angle that didn’t include the actual building she was painting, but then realized this was the shot!
