All along the waterfront in Milazzo, Sicily, there’s a long line of benches all facing the sea, and all, to one degree or another, defaced with a white kind of pen that doesn’t seem to wash off. So looking at a bench reveals the lovers who’ve sat there and enjoyed each other, and the view.
