Strolling down an old, somewhat dark alleyway in Rhodes, Greece, I peeked in and found this artist intently focused on his work, glasses perched mid-nose, and deftly brushing strokes across a canvas. What a find!
thanks vida. he seemed to be the classic for an artist at work to me.phil

tarsia, much appreciated indeed. He seemed calm, confident in his skill, focused and diligent, never even looking up as I clicked away.phil
many thanks for the recognition and honor of this feature. Very much appreciated.phil
I can understand a desire to see this image in B&W, but as it is I like it a lot. The colours are muted throughout and blend wonderfully, and really enhance the candid setting. Great shot Phil! A rich canvas.
thanks much peter, the light in his shop was muted just enough for this effect.phil
