Sikus, pan pipes, are typically made from bamboo shoots, but have also been made from condor feathers, bone, and many other materials and are commonly used by people from the Lake Titicaca region of Peru. This statue of a Siku musician can be found in La Paz, Bolivia.

Just a retired old guy who loves looking for an eclectic mix of subjects to photograph, from people, to places, to concepts, and enjoys all aspects of the hunt, the find, and the shot, plus dabbling in the post production.

“No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did, he would cease to be an artist”
