On the cliffs of Chorrillos facing the Pacific Ocean in Miraflores, a section of Lima, Peru, one finds El Parque del Amor. The centerpiece is this statue of two lovers kissing, El Beso, by Victor Delfin . All around the piece are mosaic tiled benches with messages of love.

Just a retired old guy who loves looking for an eclectic mix of subjects to photograph, from people, to places, to concepts, and enjoys all aspects of the hunt, the find, and the shot, plus dabbling in the post production.

    I’m wondering…. about this statues color. ???? :-)

  • pete
it looked as though it was made out of terra cotta or a similar ceramic, rather than other materials like wood or metal…..and it was kinda ugly I thought…..
