Rooftops by phil decocco

These rather unusual structures were atop buildings in Vancouver, B.C., interesting to see, but unclear as to their function

Just a retired old guy who loves looking for an eclectic mix of subjects to photograph, from people, to places, to concepts, and enjoys all aspects of the hunt, the find, and the shot, plus dabbling in the post production.

I don’t know what these are either, but they have interesting textures and their reflective properties must meant they are constantly changing in color. Neat!

Interesting but quite unattractive. However, you have made a good photo out of them.

These certainly spark ones curiosity. They are constructed in separated pairs, side-by-side, have slanted roofs, no windows, and all of the same architecture. The one oddity is the long pipe between two of them. Copper seems impractical as it oxidizes to blue/green rather quickly. A real head scratcher, Phil!
