When young Masai boys in Tanzania and Kenya, Africa get circumsized, and take their first step towards becoming a warrior, they paint their faces in a black and white pattern shown here on this mask, often worn by celebrants in the rite.

Just a retired old guy who loves looking for an eclectic mix of subjects to photograph, from people, to places, to concepts, and enjoys all aspects of the hunt, the find, and the shot, plus dabbling in the post production.
