The Hofburg Imperial Palace, Vienna, Austria, has been the home of some of the more powerful and influential people, including acting as the Winter Palace for the Hapsburg’s. Atop the roof are beautiful figures, including this piece.

Just a retired old guy who loves looking for an eclectic mix of subjects to photograph, from people, to places, to concepts, and enjoys all aspects of the hunt, the find, and the shot, plus dabbling in the post production.

“No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did, he would cease to be an artist”
