Artist's Description

This magnificent beast, the white rhino (Ceratotherium Simum) was spotted grazing peacefully with one other in Kenya, Africa, in the Masai Mara. The unconscionable poaching slaughter of these animals continues, as well as the black rhino, for their horns, believed in the Far East to have magical powers, from fertility to cancer cures. all for a material that is made of the same substance as hair or fingernails. A tragedy!
