While on one of our last days in the Masai Mara in Kenya, Africa, we came across a tower of giraffes (Giraffa Leopardalis) feeding in an acacia grove. Never saw as many in one place ever before

Just a retired old guy who loves looking for an eclectic mix of subjects to photograph, from people, to places, to concepts, and enjoys all aspects of the hunt, the find, and the shot, plus dabbling in the post production.

good question! The old other question is"what must a sore throat mean to them?" lol

How wonderful to see so many together in natural surroundings. (by the way – a “tower” is a new collective word for me – thank you)

  • lezvee
it was for us, too. it seems that all groups of animals there have words to describe the group..herd, pride, tower, float etc. etc

my favorite new word was for a group of zebras….a “dazzle”
