Durnstein Vineyard by phil decocco

Photographic Prints

Available to buy on…

On the banks of the Danube River in Durnstein, Austria, this verdant vineyard grows grapes for the delicious Tegernseehof Gruner Veltline wines.

Just a retired old guy who loves looking for an eclectic mix of subjects to photograph, from people, to places, to concepts, and enjoys all aspects of the hunt, the find, and the shot, plus dabbling in the post production.

“No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did, he would cease to be an artist”

Try to say that after a few glasses… Heck, try it now! Lol To think there have probably been vinyards here when the castles were built. Boggles the mind. :-)

all true, and I must say, although we had tastings, it didn’t float my boat! Too sweet as many German/Austrian wines can be

Dürnstein is such a beautiful place to visit with so much history to take in. It amazes me how the rows of vines grow on the hillsides. I’m sure you enjoyed the cruise as much as I did…Jules

the trip was wonderful, and dispelled some ideas I had about river cruises. So much so, that we signed up for one from Paris to through Provence to Monte Carlo.
