    The first thing that came to mind, as I noticed all the decorations, was that they are equivalent to our American Billboards. ??? :-)

    certainly the “clutter” aspect is the same. There was a festival going on while we were there and so these colorful things were hanging everywhere. Also, in the river were parade type floats, really floating
