At a gold mining museum filled with artifacts from the 1860s gold rush near Queenstown, South Island, New Zealand, these rusty old dredge scoops were once part of the excavation process for digging gold from them thar hills!

These look to be in pretty good condition for being 150 yrs old, don’t you think… or… kept that way for the tourists. It must have been a pretty big operation! :-)
