Ah, a controlled kinetic energy transfer device. So simple, yet reliable, the would last for years with simple routine maintenance. Today, if something wears out, you replace it… not so much because it can’t be repaired, but because it is outdated and costs less to buy new. Change! Too much, too soon, too fast! Nice one, Phil. :-)
peteso much “stuff” fits that category when you go for low cost manufacturing…things break=why fix=cheaper to replace=loop back
