This gear mechanism is part of the steam driven engine room of the TSS Earnslaw, sailing out of Queenstown on Lake Wakatipu, on the South Island of New Zealand.

Just a retired old guy who loves looking for an eclectic mix of subjects to photograph, from people, to places, to concepts, and enjoys all aspects of the hunt, the find, and the shot, plus dabbling in the post production.

“No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did, he would cease to be an artist”
