Born in the UK and developed an interest in photography at 12.
Left school at 15 to join a photographic Studio. Joined Kodak as a junior trainee at the factory in Wealdstone and moved on to UK head office in London. Attended Regent Street Polytechnic Photographic course. Love & marriage intervened but photography always featured prominently in my life.

Migrated to Australia in ’70 to Sydney raised a family and retired to the far south coast of New South Wales in 2001. This was my chance to put into practice the skills developed in the previous years. The landscape in this part of the world can be breath-taking or subtle, beautiful or harsh and limited only by the imagination.

I have taught Photography & Digital imaging for our local U3A (University of the 3rd age) and exhibit in local exhibitions in between looking after my wife who has health issues which linger. To me photography is an art form and I’m happy to use Photoshop to create or enhance my work.

The high winds have been and gone in a few weeks and with the change of season the wild & and native flowers are showing up in profusion. A seal appeared on t…

Nearly halfway through 2014

Up in Sydney for as long as it takes. Tina’s hip operation has been successful and she’s now in rehab. The enforced break for me has been put to good use with the help of a very good and long suffering friend who has ferried me around to make pics in places not visited before. I’ve started posting some of these shots today from a very pleasant 2 hours or so late in the day at La…

New home and new views

We have sold our home of the last 13 years and moved no more than 1Km down the road. Due to my wife Tina’s ill health and my lack if time and enthusiasm for maintaining the old place with only the two of us there. Our new home is very much smaller both house and garden but with magnificent views over Wallaga Lake. I will post some images of the lake and “Gulaga” mountain in thei…
