Born in the UK and developed an interest in photography at 12.
Left school at 15 to join a photographic Studio. Joined Kodak as a junior trainee at the factory in Wealdstone and moved on to UK head office in London. Attended Regent Street Polytechnic Photographic course. Love & marriage intervened but photography always featured prominently in my life.
Migrated to Australia in ’70 to Sydney raised a family and retired to the far south coast of New South Wales in 2001. This was my chance to put into practice the skills developed in the previous years. The landscape in this part of the world can be breath-taking or subtle, beautiful or harsh and limited only by the imagination.
I teach Photography & Digital imaging for our local U3A (University of the 3rd age) and exhibit in local exhibitions. To me photography is an art form and I’m happy to use Photoshop to create or enhance my work.
