    They look like little, chewed up balls of chewing gum! lol, are they tiny curled up people? I always find your creativity and art to be really fascinating pbworks! :-)

    A kind of small “bonhomme” which is not able to be left its gangue and remains rolled up on itself…
    The idea of the chewing-gum amuses me and shows me this small “bonhomme” differently ! ;-)

    I’m chewing a lot of gum lately! It’s called nicotinell, it helps you to stop smoking cigarettes, I’ve been chewing it for five years now, LOL, I think it’s sending me crazy!

    Oh Vicky, I try to explain :)
    The series of photos – rise in sequence – shows in fact a “book” of approximately 500 pages – drawings + writings , whose edges are cut out like a cliff in miniature : the pages are “undulating” and when the book is closed, the pages seem like superimposed layers.
    At the interior of the book I did patiently cut out on several centimetres thickness a square “hole” where I placed a small rather formless figurine as in gestation… &
    this “book” is the same size as one of the 9 black zinc cubes – what is used to me as logo when the boxes were empty – ;

    Pascale, merci pour l’explication. I will continue in English, because I’ve never seen any other languages here, and hélas, I suppose we must accept English as the international language of today! This is a profound and profoundly moving work, rich in color and metaphor.

    Oh Vicky… If i can read & understand written English (+ or ) write on E, it’s very difficult, I always try to “translate” not to give words and ideas directly. To speak correctly another language, it is necessary to think in this language ! & I think in French ! :) but
    I’m touched by your comments & thanks very much for it ! ;
