Rouleaux (de printemps) - Spring Rolls

My “Rolls” are a work made after my participation for the project : “Do you like a yen ?” (French-Nippon project between Paris and Tokyo with initiative of the japonese artist mami PY). I do artist’s book and in this work I made a “hanging scroll” in traditionnal japanese way – ( In french the same word designs two things : hanging scroll art & rolls…)

    Interesting works…i like how you chose to photograph the scrolls horizontally. Also, the softness of the imagery makes these feel like fading memories.
