Not-Drawings of the day - Les Non-Dessins du Jour - 2006-02-15

“Not-Drawings of the day” is a work with setting in abyme… : On my desk, the printed image of the photograph of the day before, which I photograph, then that then I print, who find his place on my desk then… All that accumulates on this table, where I can’t draw any more !! :))... A history of 18 (weeks) and 124 (days).

My printer didn’t like red. All prints are blue or green.

The last part of this work = each impression must be drawn – pencil graphite – thus in the shift of time the drawings are the not-drawings of the day. !!!

    Ceci est intriguant! Belles couleurs.

hahaha, I was going to ask you if you’d like a blow job in French, only they don’t have a French word for it, so the words ‘blow job’ appeared in English, which may have looked rude beneath your beautiful photo, so I didn’t bother. :-)

I’m afraid I might be teaching you the wrong kind of words to speak in English! :-) You use the urban dictionary? hahaha.

Oops! I just looked up blow job in the Urban Dictionary, the pictures make it pretty clear don’t they??? :-) That is what I see in the black shapes on the right hand side of your image, either that, or I should see a psychiatrist. :-P

I always photographed the same elements: a transparent sheet with an opening, my hand holding this sheet, which is there to tally the reality of the moment and the paper impressions which accumulate each day… :)
    Only !
But even the inanimate objects reserve surprises ! :))
