Artist's Description

While visiting my parents last summer, I was sitting on their porch enjoying the morning sunrise when I realized this little child’s toy had been abandoned for sometime, left alone to watch the children playing, waiting for its rightful owner to return and reclaim his or her possession. I found this image this evening and saw it in a different light.
Isn’t this how children work, they get a new toy, that new toy means that absolute world to them, and oops, its gets layed down somewhere and accidentally forgotten. It appears to me this stuffed toy had been abandoned for quite some time, and what a way to capture “things” that come and go in life, than this~! Symbolic in a sense…Life is new, fun, and exciting, and as we get use to things, we move on and memories are left in the dust, or for the webs to take over~!
