The Bottom of Shoshone Falls Snake River-2008 by Brenda Dahl

The Bottom of Shoshone Falls Snake River-2008 by

This is where the Shoshone Falls begins its next flow….About 15 miles down from this point is a historical road site because The Thousand Springs begin coming out of the walls of The Snake River Canyon. Beauty that is untouched by the hands of man~!

Photography is the only way to capture “time in a bottle” and the everlasting scent of the moment.

Very nice capture Brenda…the shoreline looks very rocky

  • Yes that year it was because we had a very poor run off from the mountains. We lost approximately 5 feet of water in the snake river at this time. Later the river lowered even more. It was quite sad, But the following year we had a Great run off. The photo I have that the dock is under water is farther down from Shoshone Falls, and as you saw, we had no problems with water that year~!
