Wow~! I have never seen anything like this before; nor did I expect to in the part of the country I was in. This photo was taken about 30 miles north of the border of Mexico. There is a wildlife preserve out there. On my way to a very important appointment, this photo was taken early in the morning, and I could not explain how many hundreds and hundreds, maybe even thousands of these birds were flying North for the spring and summer.. Just fantastic~!
Not to mention the wonderful shape of these mountains…..I was able to capture three of my favorite parts of nature in one shot..

  • Oh Thank You so much. This is when Daddy and I went to Arizona the first time and we had to leave the house just as the sun came up. There is a refuge out there in the middle of no where land, and I was lucky enough to be sitting in the back seat with camera in hand, There were so many birds , I mean flock after flock. I would guess about 1,000 or more in about 5 or less miles.
