I don’t know if it is just me, but the one thing that seems to be a regular flaw in some otherwise great photos on RB is the attention to detail with getting the Horizon exactly horizontal.
I know I take photos the same… I’ve had couse to measure both my legs and they are the same length …
A suggestion … use your editors Rotate and Crop function
Please bring your photos into your favorite editor and rotate them till the horizon is dead level. It will improve the value of your photos many times.
Most editors have a single-function “straighten and crop” which is very very useful.
Hope you don’t mind my journal entry, but I didn’t feel it would be appropriate to comment individually on this.
Cheers

Absolutely agree! It’s just an annoying distraction from what could otherwise be an excellent image – and so easy to fix. Go the straight horizon! (Gosh, having said all that, I’d better go back and check all mine lol)

Don’t feel bad Denzil. We’ve all done it. I know I have too often to own up to! :-o
Just not everyone thinks to check it and would make a huge difference to people’s photos. Cheers Paul.

Agree totally, having said that I often overlook it myself. I should write it on the back of my hand
