I think your cars are great Paul. I’d love to see them depicted in action with drivers fighting to keep them on the track. Cheers, Kerry.

Great stuff Paul…superbly drawn. A truly awesome car…. from the greatest era in motorsport….when the drivers were ‘fat’ and the tyres were ‘skinny’. How about an Auto Union type C next?

Hi coffeetea, sorry for delay in responding to you, had problems with internet. The car was the most powerful racing car of its day and the engine was a supercharged eight cylinder which produced 646brake horse power at 5800rpm. The average car we drive on the roads today produce about 90 to 110rpmif that gives you a type of comparison. If i can help further then just ask-take care and by the way i like some of your photos , they are excellent !

By the way, do you prefer being called coffeetea or Susan ? Your studies of still life are exellent especially the water lillies etc! I wish i had the ptience to paint flowers in similar wy to your photos but never seem to manage it somehow . Take care – Paul.
