RE-JOINED TATE GALLERY AS BEING A YEARLY MEMBER
Yesterday, I went and re-joined the Tate Gallery, again; a single yearly membership costs: £60; which is automatically paid by DDR/Direct Debit from your bank a/c.
My main reason for re-joining was I because wanted to repeatedly go and visit seeing their latest Picasso exhibition; which costs £12.00 each time to go in with a single ticket.
I figure, I’m likely to re-visit multiple times; and, certainly, multiple times all throughout the year; therefore, as 5 x £12 = £60; and, I’ll probably re-visit 100+ times, at least; thus, the full cost of my yearly membership fee will eventually get recouped.
This particular Picasso exhibition is interesting, in that it shows not only Picasso’s work, alone; but, also, the work of many other British artist who he had a major influence on; including Francis Bacon, Graham Sutherland, Henry Moore, David Hockney, etc.
HENRY MOORE, ONE OF MY MOST FAV ARTISTS
I’ve always enjoyed looking at the drawings/sculpture of Henry Moore, from ever since my youth; when I would see his work inside of books down at my local public library.
At home, I even have a book on his concerning sheep he drew. I take it out, to both look and admire, regularly. I think, he draws very seriously; and, as no joke; thus, all of his drawings are quite truly fantasically well done; meaning their quality is great.
I also tend to see his sculptures at various places, all around London; such as there is an abstract sculpture piece being located right outside of the Tate Gallery on the junction corner between Millbank/and, Vauxhall bridge; being seen across the road from where the actual Gallery itself is.
