Located right at the bottom of my road is a bus stop. When I went down the street today, because I wanted to go buy a newspaper; right near the bus stop, I saw this broken down London red double decker bus. I couldn’t quite resist it, very quickly, pulling the digital compact camera out of my trouser pocket, and, stopping to take a photo; after all, it’s not every day you get to see what the inside engine of a bus does actually look like…???.
NOTE: Being reflected inside of the bottom window pane is West Norwood bus garage station.
Sometimes, people take phototgraphs with the aim to be ‘stunning/or, otherwise, sensational’; and, at other times, they take photographs purely just to go ‘document’ their day, instead. This one is meant to be documentary; something, at some future point in time, I will be able to look back on; and, instantly, be reminded…not only of this ‘one’ incident, alone; but, also, all of the many other things that happened to me during that same day.
For example, I was meant to go and do a photography session in Kentish Town; but, in the end, I totally freaked out; feeling that my camera just wouldn’t be good enough, as I still don’t own an SLR/DSLR, yet?! But, also, far more importantly, because I’d gone and woken up far too late; so, I basically went and missed my appointment time…! Though, looking at things another way, the session was expensive costing £35.00; so, I could simply claim that I went and saved myself from having to go pay such a huge cost.
