Description:
I had gone and visited seeing my family in Kingswood, yesterday; having brought a return train ticket costing me £6.50 from Streatham Hlll train station. It was my cousins husband birthday; and, I promised to buy him a bottle of Hardy’s Red Wine, Meurlot. Later on, during this same evening, both me and, my cousin, went off to do some late night shopping in a huge local Asda superstore; where I brought myself a brand new hat costing just £3.00. I put the old hat inside of my backpack; and, wore this new hat home. Whilst waiting around on the platform for the train to come along; I decided to experiment with using my camera to take a few pics of me wearing my new hat.
My cousin’s husband gave me one of his old watches to wear; when he saw that I was wearing none. Now, I’m going to have to figure a way of returning it back to him, again; all because I didn’t quite know how to say, no. I told him I already have 2 watches; and, both gold; but, I didn’t wish to wear these in case they got either stolen or damaged. The truth is, I never wear 2nd hand things. I always like to buy and wear first hand, instead. I think, it’s what happens when you were brought up being an only child; and, therefore, you never had to share with others; or else, accept other people’s hand me downs.

COOL PAUL, YOU LOOK LIKE A HALO IS ON TOP OF YOUR HEAD, LOBE THIS IMAGE, TERRIFIC……….
Thanks! ;-) Speaking purely for myself, I’m never entirely pleased with the way any of my photos come out; as I don’t see myself as being ‘photogenic’ at all! However, I do think it’s really very important to try and keep a record of your aging process; otherwise, one ends up being left with absolutely nothing left to show! For example, I have very few photo’s of me as a child/or, even in my youth; and, I think, that’s really very sad, indeed; when one bears in mind that those were my youngest, and, therefore, my freshest looking years all gone.

If i lived near you i would get you and shake you, to let you know you are GOOD CAMERA MAN….
Thanks, again! ;-) Learning to be, quite mercilessly, self-critical of one’s work…is how one’s art improves; otherwise, you get stuck in the same endless rut of feeling complacent, and, therefore, going absolutely nowhere; thus, for me, personally, learning to do arts most effectively is always going to be a bitter uphill ‘fight!’
