BOTH MY OLD CAMERAS BROKE
Before I was using both a Practica DPix 10MP 1000z/1100z pocket digital cameras; both of which viewfinder screens I accidentally broke! I should have kept each camera inside of its protective case, instead. Well, hopefully, lesson learned.
HAD TO GET A REPLACEMENT
A few days ago I went and brought a replacement camera, my first 14MP FujiFilm Fuji S3200 camera from QVCUK.com; they delivered it to me, yesterday; and, I’m still working on learning to get to grips with how everything works…???
The way I took the above pics was…
1. I took 2 separate pics of both my left/right hands.
2. Using Windows XP Pro operating system software, I went and opened up Microsoft Paint FREE accessory program; and, pasted each pic into the canvas; then, resized each pic so that they would be able to fit together; my intention being to make it all look like being just ‘one’ pic.
Of course, I do fully realise that as both the distance which these pics were being taken from/and, also, the background lighting of each pic was not exactly the same; thus, quite clearly, there are easily detectable differences between each pic.
Still, it was a fun and interesting exercise to ‘try’!
I think, I might have been unconsciously ‘inspired’ by seeing the work of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel…where he shows the ‘hand of God’ in the ‘creation of Adam’.
I suppose, in a way, artists are like God; in that they can go and create almost anything they please; providing, that is, they are truly capable.
Though, of course, in reality; we are not that capable in that even the very ‘best’ drawing/painting/sculpture/photograph does NOT actually breath…?! Even movies do represent ‘capturing of the past’ which has already happened before; and, therefore, is now long ‘dead’, instead!
