love these last two Paul…really wild and exciting

  • Thanks, Adam for your comments! ;-)

Playing around with doing ‘digital manipulations’ can, sometimes, be an awful lot of FUN; as there’s so many different things you can do to the ‘original’ black and white drawing.

At first, I was going to add all of the colours in the MS Paint program; but, I resisted that; far better to work with a ‘limited palette’, instead; than to just go and slap on absolutely everything!

Then, there was dealing with the background; should I invert/reverse colours around, where??? In the end I just decided to leave the background as ‘simple’ as is possible; as, in that way, it would not distract from seeing the main figure itself.

oh i see her now but i have been looking off and on all afternoon to find her. Great!

  • …hey, I really LIKE that comment. You couldn’t even find her…??? LOL But, you LIKED seeing the colourful forest…he hee. Seriously, that’s really good; as there is usually more than one way to approach seeing a work of art. For instance, I read it somewhere that when you create some artwork; try turning it around going in all 4 directions…up/down/left right…and, from there you will get a far better perspective on if it all works or not. Sometimes, I use this advice; and, othertimes, I simply ignore it; as I really don’t believe in following any strict rules. ;)
