Lovely colours and detail. With all those filters used you must have had a tripod. lol. Well taken. John
PS is a ND400 almost black?
Paul Pichugin replied
Yes, the ND400 is nearly black.. very hard to see through.. you can look directly at the sun with it.. that’s how black it is. I love it.. I can do 2-4 second exposures in the middle of the day if I want.

Beautiful exposure, tones and comp, fav for me
David Haworth
I think this is the standout of this series Paul. I think the two gentle gradients of colour complement each other and throw the attention of the intricate and well lit details of the decaying wood. It just sits very easy on my eye.

Great work. Lovely detail and colours
You should be able to get a 20 to 30 second exposure during daylight with the ND400. Only recently found out that you can see through it with Live View so that helps a lot.
Paul Pichugin replied
The 30D doesn’t have live view unfortunately.. and I probably wouldn’t use it anyway :-)
Lawrence Norton

yes well done, another calm day.
Paul Pichugin replied
Actually it wasn’t calm at all.. it was quite windy and lots of waves. I’ve done a long exposure in order to blur the water.
