My photography is very much a part time hobby – usually while following my wife as she chases sunsets, waterfalls, lighthouses or whatever photographic opportunity takes her fancy.
I’m a consultant – providing strategic policy advice and analysis to government and industry – and this is where most of my creative energy (and time) is spent. I work primarily in natural resources, but particularly covering water, fire and salinity – all with a bit of economics thrown in. It is great to think laterally and broadly about big picture issues and how to solve problems, particularly when they affect people and their livelihoods.
Weekends in summer are usually spent playing cricket (yep, I’m a tragic), while winters are spent in the shed planning and executing the next woodwork project.
