Created from a macro photo taken with a Lumix FZ38 camera using ink and water
I really enjoy experimental photography and believe that images that appear by accident occur to tell me or teach me something.
Here I see apparitions emerging from water – I think of the bottom as being water with ripples.
The first figure that I noticed was that of a woman facing to the right. Her face is blue looking downwards and the darker area is her hair and she reminds me of a stone statue or a cherub. I printed out this photo but when I looked again I just could not see this woman. Instead I saw a woman looking to the left with the dark area above the first woman’s face being the face this second time of looking. And the darker area lower down and slightly to the left of this face I saw as being the face of a man who has his arms around the woman. And the next day yet another woman appeared totally blue with face really high in the photo!
I would be so interested in what you see in this – you probably think I am mad and that it is just abstract but I would particularly like to hear from anyone who knows about mythology and if this image could relate to it.

I am passionate about all forms of art and enjoy painting in all media. I adore colour and am especially interested in creating different textural effects in my paintings as well as silkpainting. I have always loved photography and am exploring the experimental side to it, creating unique works and most recently of all using digital textures with my art and photography. I hope you like viewing my works!

    not mad at all
if you are i am too
i see a woman in a flowing blue gown that merges with water at her feet there is mist around her and her reflection in the water
a great tribute to experimentation and inovation plus the happy accident xx

  • Thanks so much Annie for your wonderful comment and I am so pleased that you can see the woman and that I am not mad! You are seeing as I first saw but there was a time that I just couldn’t see her. I just love experimenting as I never know what will appear next!
