This is another one of my photographic ice creations, this time taken just as the ice was starting to melt. Please let me know what it makes you think of – my title gives my interpretation and it reminds me of the sea and a huge wave.

I am passionate about all forms of art and enjoy painting in all media. I adore colour and am especially interested in creating different textural effects in my paintings as well as silkpainting. I have always loved photography and am exploring the experimental side to it, creating unique works and most recently of all using digital textures with my art and photography. I hope you like viewing my works!

Beautiful colours Pauline! for me there is a rush of energy before the ice vanishes:)) I see a face in the middle.

  • Thanks so much Laureen for your lovely comment and fav and for sharing your thoughts about what you see. I am always spotting faces in works but I hadn’t spotted the one here until you mentioned it and even then had to really search!

A little to the left in the center is half a face with a huge eye:) and another one next to it!

  • Oh dear, now I am looking where you mention I can see someone screaming or with their mouth wide open – maybe my mouth is your eye – I can’t see the half face with the huge eye. I can see a small face to the right of my screaming face!

i can see a face too, but to me this is more of a flower opening up spreading her seeds..that’s why i think your title fits perfectly.. in all the favorites from you this touches me the most! Does it perhaps stand for where you feel yourself in life at the moment Pauline?

    Really love these series.. xx

  • Thanks so much Liesbeth for your thoughtful comment and for adding this to your favourites. And you are probably right about it standing for the stage I am at in my new life at the moment!
