Someone pointed out to me that my “Fairytale ice abstract” work which I will show below looked really good upside down so to create this work I turned it upside down and cropped it slightly. All sorts of things appear here like dolphins playing, a face, a woman meditating. I can also see a more spiritual interpretation which I refer to with my title.Tell me what you see and what this means to you and which version you prefer! The original work was created by photographing rhododendrons in ice.

I am passionate about all forms of art and enjoy painting in all media. I adore colour and am especially interested in creating different textural effects in my paintings as well as silkpainting. I have always loved photography and am exploring the experimental side to it, creating unique works and most recently of all using digital textures with my art and photography. I hope you like viewing my works!

Thank you so much Annie and for adding this to your favourites. It is lovely to hear what you saw – I must look for this horse, donkey and buffalo! I can’t remember if I added the original work to your group – the original work is this upside down and if you click on the card it takes you to it! You see all sorts of thigs in the upside down version too!

This is wonderful… has some kind of 3D Effect to me when looking at it longer… but looking @ the card… is it reversed? sometimes this happens when uploading the Pics…
Thank you so much Astrid for your wonderful comment and for adding this to your favourites. I created a work Fairytale ice abstract which is the card[if you click on it it takes you to the Fairytale ice abstract page] and then somebody said that it looked better upside down so I reversed it and listed it as this piece but I had to crop the top off to make this piece as that spoilt it!

you could combine them Pauline for both have interesting aspects ..and both have a face.. smiles..
this one does have the feeling of being under water..playfull and here the face has a more dreamy look..but still very aware of what is happening.. in the grey part between the pink on the right is also a face (which is in the fairy version upside down)
the fairy version has the feeling of rising.. the face awakening..and what i love so much about this one is when you look above the eyes what i see looks like a baby or small child with half a circle above it.. new beginnings perhaps? or opening up to new visions? Both versions are beautifull and special.. maybe they both have something to tell you .. X
Thank your so much Liesbeth for your wonderful inspiring comment. In going to enlarge it to look for the baby which I am having trouble seeing I hit the wrong button and it went through in the feed that I had added it to my favourites – I have just sent a journal thing through as it didn’t disappear from the feed when I deleted it from my favourites and I thought that this would look very odd! I hadn’t seen the face in the grey part and I really like this face – I feel as if this one is significant to me now that you have pointed it out. And I think you are right they both must have something to tell me because the photo just happened – I didn’t actually create it as such!
