At present all the daffodils are dying but as I looked at them in my garden they still looked so beautiful and I just had to photograph this narcissus.I have done a small amount of work in Photoshop to make the background black.

I am passionate about all forms of art and enjoy painting in all media. I adore colour and am especially interested in creating different textural effects in my paintings as well as silkpainting. I have always loved photography and am exploring the experimental side to it, creating unique works and most recently of all using digital textures with my art and photography. I hope you like viewing my works!

You are correct, it does look like some exotic flower !

  • I think it must be the black background that makes it look like this because as I took it with its natural surround it looked a lot more dead! But it still had its colour – it hadn’t quite turned brown. I will take a pic when it is brown! Thanks for favouriting it and so pleased that you think of it as an exotic flower!
