Soft pastel on Canson drawing paper,A2
A still life drawing was done on the deck of my house on a sunny and a bit windy day. I’ve tried to capture the movement of the branches and the shades and give it a feeling of dance.

you succeeded in all you hoped to achieve…AND then some! A lovely image… proving again to me, what I try to remind myself, that often our best art flows from what is around us in our familiar every day environment…. ;-))))
Thank you James for your wonderful comment! Oh yes I agree with you! Maybe it is just the nature of every human to search for the perfection somewhere else.
Superb pastel work. The subtle colours in the shadow are wonderful. A fine, nicely-composed piece.
