ERA E type GP1 by Paul Woloschuk

Maybe if you ignore the modern crash helmet worn by owner and driver Duncan Ricketts and use your imagination a little, this image might have been taken back in 1938 when this car was built to take on the might of Auto Union, Alfa Romeo and Maserati, but unfortunately for it’s builder Raymond Mays, ERA GP E-Type 1 was never a real contender, despite it’s beautiful lines.

    Wow – top processing :) -

  • Thanks very much Paul – sometimes an image seems to lend itself to ‘aging’, but I try not to do it too often.
I was just drawn into it by this car’s lines, and the absence of eight foot high catch fencing at Prescott!
    ….I love ERAs! :-)

Better to see it on a track rather than in a museum….enjoyed the view.

  • My sentiments exactly Robert. Thanks for your comment.
