I love exploring old churchyards, and this group of Table Tombs overgrown with ivy seemed a good subject on which to try out my IR filter.

This is my first attempt at Infra Red photography, so all comments, tips and suggestions for improvement are very welcome!

Nikon D80. Nikkor 18-135mm. 40 second exposure. Cokin 89B filter

Sorry Paul, I know next to nowt about infra red but it looks great to me, nice one..

  • Thanks Jason – I appreciate you taking time to comment.
Stonework probably isn’t the best IR subject, and I’m sure that had the trees had more foliage this shot would have been better.

Super shot, would be interested in seeing it in summer as well, any chance?

  • A very good possibility Graham, it’s in the village where I live!
I love spending time in this place….it’s not very big, but has a lot of charm.
