Williams FW07
This Williams FW07C was driven by the Australian F1 World Champion Alan Jones during the 1981 season, which was his last year driving in F1.
Alan won the Driver’s World Championship driving a Williams FW07 in 1980 through his wins in the Argentine, French, British, Canadian, and United States Grand Prix.
The FW07 was further developed during the following years into the FW07B and finally the FW07C as pictured here.

I took this shot at a recent historic event at Silverstone…and played about with it just a bit in Photoshop!
The car and sky were in the same original image, but I ‘introduced’ the bushes in the far distance from another image and brought the sky down a little in order to remove people, and other cars that were in the background.
I also had to be very patient, as every so often somebody would stop by and peer into the car getting in the way of my shot!
I hope you like the result.

Paul you did a fabulous job on this image … I read what you did in Photoshop .. and you are a genius!!!!!!!! VERY dramatic!!!!!

I like it… good work on removing the people and cars. I hate when people float into my shot…haha, happens way too much.
Paul Woloschuk replied
Thanks Carleton. I guess we’re all there to enjoy the cars….but I must confess to feelling a little frustrated sometimes when one ‘floater’ leaves, only to be replaced immediately by another!!

Oh I hear you, it is almost as if you were invisible. A little consideration can go a long ways. So I always try to be mindful of my surroundings so I don’t walk into others shot.
