Eden Project 'The Core'
This corridor at the Eden Project, Cornwall UK, caught my eye.
I was attracted by the lighting, the repetitive lines and the curve of the walls that lead your eye to….. who knows where!

Simple elegance…....................beautifully captured and presented
David Robinson
Wow … well done on capturing such a fabulous image hand held with such a long exposure. Wonderful abstract creation!
Paul Woloschuk replied
Thanks for your comment David – however, there was a typo in my original notes, it was a 1.5 second and not a 15 second exposure (my hand’s aren’t that steady!). I was also leaning against the wall to help aviod camera shake.
stephenedwards

I could easily cut and paste your description as my comment Paul, it sums it up in a nutshell, a fascinating complex geometry of lines and curves, well exposed and composed,
Regards, Rod.
Paul Woloschuk replied
Thanks very much Rod.
Sometimes you find an image that just comes out and hits you…and this was one such occasion.
OK, the structure was the product of an architect’s skill and not of mine – but in photographing it, I was applauding his work!
Joanne Bradley
Fantastic capture, it is so sci-fi!
Paul Woloschuk replied
Thank you Joanne
Mardra
You’re right – That is a great shot.
Paul Woloschuk replied
I’m pleased that you like it.
Matthew Walters
Looks more like 2001 than the Eden Project! Where are all the flowers :) Very clever shot, far from the usual flora/fauna of the EP.
Paul Woloschuk replied
Thanks Matthew. EP was ok, but being a real petrolhead, I found the constant reminders about being ‘green’ a bit much at times!
Nicolette Thain
awesome!!!
Paul Woloschuk replied
Thank you Nicolette, I’m pleased that you like it.
Scott d'Almeida
brilliant
Paul Woloschuk replied
Thank you Scott.
SD Smart
Brilliant – Its the curves seen on the left wall amoungst the contrasting straight lines that I found captivating. Are these visable in the original size image?
A featured image in the Tunnel Vision Group.
Paul Woloschuk replied
Thanks Shane.
The curves you mention are the result of viewing a reduced-size image on a monitor (there’s probably a scientific name for it!). I’ve checked a larger version, and there’s no such effect visible.
Milton Gan
Lovely shot Paul! Great composition and well done for keeping your hands steady!
Paul Woloschuk replied
Thank you Milton. I was leaning against the wall on the left, so it wasn’t too difficult to keep the camera steady!
parmi
Wow, this is amazing, so futuristic.
Paul Woloschuk replied
Thank you Parmi, it simply caught my eye, so I had to take the shot.
Alan McMorris

Mark Coward
Fantastic lines and lighting. 1.5 sec hand held! I’m impressed.
Paul Woloschuk replied

The lighting in fabulous photo is exquisite. I love how you’ve captured the flowing lines, the beautiful neutral tones and the way the curve of the tunnel looks as though I can walk into your image and follow it to whereever it leads – everything is so controlled.
