French surreal lighthouse

French surreal lighthouse

Winner of the Surreal Phare Design Competition ~ Sadly now forgotten..

Yes its French, it ended up on a French beach in the Languedoc-Roussillon area,
the Government lost its nerve at the last moment and tried to hide it in the most remote part of France..

These days its quite a headache for the local council, they are sick of cleaning the linen covering and washing off the graffiti..

French surreal lighthouse belongs to the following groups:

Altered by Design, DaDa Land, Enchanting Powerful Photo Manipulation (2 per day), Fantasy Art, Fantasy Fine Art Composites, Friends of RedBubble, Graphic Editing 101, Layered with Texture, Parallel Dimensions, PixElations - The Art of Photoshop, The Graphic Room-Graphic and Digital Art, The Grunge Art Gallery, The Voyage Of The Surrealists and Visual Texture(no pornography, nudes or offensive works) Available for sale as

Greeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints, Framed Prints and Posters

As for living in France, I’m not here by accident!
I have to say its probably one of the best counties in the world to live in, we have over 330 days of sun for goodness sake! :-)

  • Dan Elbourne

brilliant :) i love that it looks feasible enough to be real (especially with the write-up), yet surreal enough to for us to doubt that it is real. if that makes sense. i had to google Languedoc-Roussillon lighthouses just to be sure :)

  • paulgrand

Lol, if only it were true, I’d be the first to put an offer in!

    This is…..humouresque.
It is…and I know..understand that the comment is also…in that fashion.
Are they ashamed of the far seeing womanship?
I have always thought that the “faro”..is somehow a totem…and a masculine one.
    You know….
But here…you have broken the myth that an erected phalo is a tree….is a tower…is a phare…..a lighthouse…is here.. a turgent, young, moulded and flexibel woman, huge….inviting….homely and careful. And the result is a wonderful sight.
