Charcoal and white pastel on paper
I invented this piece when i was trying to figure out if the cool pad of paper my fiance had just bought for me was good for pastels. i guess it is.
what do you think?
(and I’ve always loved architectural perspective too):)
and an unconscious metaphor of course. i believe that in any passionate work of art, the individuals state at the time, and scattered shards of who they are become visible. whether they will it or not. in critical theory, this is a modernist approach, and has been over-taken and subsumed by post-modernism. but then again art critics should all be set on fire and made to work real jobs; also to have their heads finally removed from deep between their own and each others’ buttocks. it’s why they where turtlenecks u know. to get a nice tight seal.
so nuts to them.
